The acronym "CCW" stands for Concealed Carry Weapon. Maryland refers to this as a Maryland Concealed Carry Permit. Often times, these terms are used interchangeably.
Reciprocity is the number one reason to obtain a Utah Concealed Carry Permit. Outside of Utah you may carry concealed in over 30 states that honor or have reciprocity with the Utah CCW permit.
